The story of a seven-year-old mischievous orphan boy named Junior. Vulcan v10 9 pistol. He is hardly a model child; mean-spirited and incorrigible. One day, he is adopted by a loving man along with his obnoxious wife named Ben Healy and Flo Healy. Ever since Junior comes into their lives, he turns ordinary days into full-scale comic nightmares! He also leaves a path of serious destruction in his wake, and is even pen pals with Martin Beck (A.K.A. The Bow Tie Killer, a notorious serial killer who kidnaps his faithful correspondent, along with Flo). And now it's up to Ben as he undertakes a rescue mission to get Junior back from Beck before he plans on hurting him.
I really enjoyed this film - which was truly different. To be honest, I'm absolutely fed up with portrays of children (especially in commercials and family movies). Children are always portrayed as so cuuuuuuute and nice - actually, I'm worried about getting tooth decay because of the sweetness involved. Problem Child is just different - the child is a complete evil brat which causes havoc during the whole movie. Basically, the film concentrates on showing the evil side of children - and yes, people, there is a cruelty in children. Do you remember your own childhood? The bully who loved to harass weaker children?
How about children treat outsiders, like fat/ugly peers? What about kids torturing animals like flies or frogs?
Sure - this comedy is far of and unrealistic, but so are cuuuuuuute and sweet family movies. So - I quite like the movie, it's a black comedy which is a nice counterpoint to sweet & cute comedies like Home Alone.
Junior's back in his first adventure since his last! Junior and Ben move to Mortville which seems like the perfect town to live in. The Healys have a nice new house-and Junior get's a cool new room! And young women have formed a line at Ben's door in order to get a piece of him (romantically). Ben does feel he should get remarried so Junior can have a mom, so while Junior adjusts to his new school which includes a little girl who's as bratty as Junior and a teenage brain-dead ignoramous bully in Junior's sixth grade class, Ben finds some dates, which Junior sends running for the hills, in the meantime Junior pulls his infamous tricks on people: blowing up barbecues, taping the bully to the chalkboard, videotaping his babysitter and her boyfriend having sex and broadcasting it for the whole neighborhood to see, same old same old. Meanwhile, Ben meets the gorgeous school nurse (after the school's satellite dish get's pushed on his head) and they, well he, believes it's love at first.
Trivia The film contains a number of subtle references to the 'Back to the Future' film series, which was also produced by Universal. In the first classroom scene, Mr. Thorn is writing rules on the blackboard, and at the bottom it says, 'No Slackers.'
Thorn is played by, who played Mr. Strickland in the 'Back to the Future' series, and was fond of calling both Marty and his father slackers. One of the other rules is 'No Tardies'. Strickland gave Marty his fourth tardy slip in a row in his first appearance in the first film.
One of the large stone cats that adorned the Hill Valley clock tower is quite visible when Ben follows Annie out of the auditorium. Also, some then-commercially available toy miniatures of the De Lorean, and the 2015 police car and taxi cab can be seen in Junior's roach motel. Okay, I saw this movie when I was like 8 for the first time and I loved it. Now i'm 15 and I still love it! What's so awful about about it?
It's about this 8-year old kid named Junior Healy, he's bad. After leaving his hometown with his foster father Ben Healy they move to Mortville. Junior has a little problem at school, this little girl is making his life a living hell. His father meets the school nurse Annie who is basically a fox. But she shows no interest. Then he meets rich woman Lawanda Dumore, who is also a fox but is a scary witch and hates Junior.
Junior then finds out that the girl who is tormenting him is Annie's daughter. So he tries to fix them up. Along the way him and the girl, Trixie, become friends.
Now theyre trying to get there parents together and get rid of Lawanda. I love this movie! I give it.½ out of.!!

Sequel to Problem Child, this film, continues the so called funny exploits of Junior, unfortunately this isn't a funny film. John Ritter can't even save this film, and it's a bad sequel to a bad film. The film lacks anything really engaging to appeal to the viewer. I really didn't get into the film, and quite frankly, I found this film along with the first to be very overrated. This film is garbage that is poorly written, acted and directed. If you're looking for something really funny, you definitely won't find it here.

Problems Child 1 Movie
This is filmmaking at its worst. The film has a poorly constructed plot with awful jokes that are not funny. As far as comedy is concerned, this film really doesn't work. This film makes you ask the question, how could this crap be made? This film was bad, unimpressive, boring and pointless. I hated the film, and the actors were not likeable in their parts. This was a film that never should have seen the light of day.
Poorly constructed, this is one of those films that never should have been made. The first film was bad, and this is just a poor attempt at cashing on the mediocrity of the first. Avoid this film, and there are far better comedies out there. This is a poor sequel that never should have been made. If you're looking for something funny here, you'll be sadly disappointed. There are no laughs to be found here, and this is just a bad film. I hated the sequel as much as the first film.
Avoid it; you'll be glad you did.
. Problem Child 1990 698.00Mb. Meet Ben and Flo Healy! They want a young child of their own, but Flo is incapable of having a child herself. Enter Junior, a little monster who has been to foster parents' homes since he was a baby and always made himself get thrown out so one day he goes to the orphanage and causes trouble for the poor nuns (although some of them deserved it). So Ben and Flo go to adopt a child and the administrator, Peabody, cons them into taking Junior off their hands.
Junior goes home with the Healys to a nice house which includes a bedroom full of clowns! Ben takes an immediate love to his son, no matter what the horrible things he does, even though he injured his grandfather, a bigoted politician, really turned a birthday party into a 'blast', sicks a bear onto campers on a camping trip, and even goes on a joyride with convicted killer Martin Beck!
